PLEASE FIND SET OUT BELOW THE TERMS OF BUSINESS UNDER WHICH ALL SALES FROM THIS WEB BASED CATALOGUE ARE CARRIED OUT
All items are offered for
sale subject to availability, we do try and make sure SOLD is put after
sold items as quickly as possible but on the first day in particular
this is impossible to do. In the event that the same item is ordered
twice the first order received will be the one accepted.
WE HAVE RECENTLY RE-REGISTERED FOR VAT
Therefore as from now there will be NO VAT added to invoices.

For all sales of books in the UK the price quoted INCLUDES postage. All other destinations will be charged at cost.
POSTAGE COSTS
Unfortunately
the postage costs have all gone up this time due to the British
government changing the VAT rules for both Royal Mail and Parcelforce
meaning that VAT is now applicable to both comapnies. This means an
instant increase of 20%.
We recently
negotiated a brand new International parcel contract with PARCELFORCE
along side our existing UK Pardcelforce contract meaning much cheaper
rates than previously for International parcels over 2Kg in weight. For
most EU countries this means a set rate for ALL parcels up to 15Kg in
weight which is a vast improvement on before. For the USA, Australia
and New Zealand also a much better rate than previously. All parcels
are insured, fully trackable and a signature is required upon delivery.
All
international parcels under 1.5Kg will be sent by SMALL PACKETS AIR MAIL,
if they are over £100 in value they will be sent recorded and
insured at an extra cost of £4.
All
International
parcels over 1.5Kg will be sent by PARCELFORCE
All UK
parcels under 1Kg will be sent by Royal Mail 1st or 2nd class
mail at cost.
Virtually
all UK parcels over 1Kg will sent by Parcelforce 48 service with
insurance and tracking at two standard prices depending on the value of
the parcel no matter what the weight.
For
parcels up to £150 in value the standard charge will be £9.95
a parcel.
For
parcels over £150 in value the standard charge will be £14.95
a parcel.
The exceptions
to this are the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland and
some parts of Wales where costs will be as follows.
Highlands and Islands of Scotland and some parts of Wales; £18.00 or £23.00 depending on value. Northern Ireland; £18.00 or £23.00 depending again on value.
Please note most of Wales will be at £9.95, it is only some of the very remote parts that the cost is more.

VISA, MASTERCARD,
ELECTRON, JCB CARDS.
There will be NO extra charge for these cards
 
PAYMENTS BY AMERICAN
EXPRESS CARDS
We also accept payments
by American Express credit cards.
PAYMENTS
BY THIS CARD WILL BE SUBJECT TO A SURCHARGE OF 3%
The
surcharge on payments by the credit card above is to help cover
charges incurred by us in accepting Amex payments.
PAYMENTS BY MAESTRO, DEBIT AND
SOLO CARDS
There are NO extra charges for
payments by these cards.
 
Payments
by all the above cards can be made by telephone quoting CARD NUMBER,
EXPIRY DATE, START DATE & ISSUE NUMBER (where applicable), SECURITY NUMBER and THE
NAME ON THE CARD.
Also
payments can be made via the order form on the web which is SECURE.
WE
CAN NOW ALSO ACCEPT PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL
but
will add 3% to the total to cover Paypal fees and charges
FOR
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS WHO DON'T PAY IN STERLING OR BY ANY OF THE ABOVE CREDIT CARDS AN
ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF £10
WILL BE ADDED TO COVER BANK CHARGES. FOR EXAMPLE

WE
DO NOT ACCEPT MONEY ORDERS UNLESS IN STERLING.

NO CHARGE IS MADE FOR PACKING IN THE MAIN EXCEPT ON LONG SAWS

items are secured to wood so they do not bend or

all sales made through this web site submitted via the web, e-mail,
fax, phone or mobile phone we will send you an acknowledgment via
e-mail.
All sales from this web site carry a 7 WORKING DAYS after receipt of
goods, no quibble refund including outward postage as long as any items
returned are in the same condition as when sent. All refunds will be
issued within 30 days of cancelling.
If contents of any parcels are received damaged please contact us
immediately. REFUNDS will be issued for items received damaged in
transit.
We will NOT be liable for the costs of returning any items unless we have mis-described the item concerned.
